Bet up to £100.00 (£10 minimum) and if you miss the green or I beat you, the amount which you bet will turn into a pro shop voucher for which you can spend. If you are lucky or skillful enough to beat me, then your bet doubles as a voucher to spend in the Pro Shop so you cannot loose. Example £100.00 bet and you beat me and hit the green turns into £200.00, miss the green or I beat you then you still get £100.00 to spend in the shop. It’s one of life's win wins. Dominate Tinsley Wins Club Championship Dominic Tinsley is the Wollaton Park Gents Club Champion for the second time after a decisive victory on Sunday. Dominic finished on a six under par total of 136 to win by five strokes from Ant Fleming, with Simon Cowan three shots further back in third. He was three ahead in the morning after finishing with two birdies for a 67 and consolidated his position with an afternoon 69. These were the only two rounds under 70 in the day, although great credit goes to Ant who only joined the club in April and was steadiness itself in compiling 70-71.
Players can only win one prize on the day, and in the nett category Kevin Shakesheff won with 138, Simon Newell was second on 139 and Kevin Slade third on 140. It was great to see 43 players contesting the title on a lovely day for golf, and credit goes to Martin Scothern and his team for the excellent condition of the course. Hilary Reaches The Summit The 2018 Ladies Club Champion is Hilary Holmes who won for the first time with a convincing nine shot victory over Sharon Harriman. The first round was at the Ladies Spring Meeting and the second last Wednesday. Congratulations Hilary. Taskers News WPGC A Taskers team had an excellent result on Friday beating Beeston Fields A team 5.5 to 1.5 at Beeston. Great team performance all round apart from the PIG the only one to get stuffed he was rushed off his little porkies. Highlight of the evening the bus driver coming from four down with five to play finishing all square (his words). Next game away to Chatsworth. |
