I did my PGA qualification at Beeston Fields under the tutorage of Alun Wardle between 2004 and 2007. After fully qualifying, I concentrated solely on playing career. I’ve won over 200 Professional events during my career; to name a few The Midland Open, 2012, 2016 The Glazerite Trophy, 2009 The Notts Open 2017, 2018 Nottinghamshire Stroke Play 2007, 2009, 2010, 2018 Notts Match Play, 2009 Notts Order of Merit Winner 2009, 2016 The British Fourball Championship 2015, 2015, PGA Cup Winning Team member. In 2015 I reached 800th in the world rankings - I have been lucky enough to work with some of the World’s best coaches to name a few Pete Cowen and Mike Walker. Most recently my wife Natalie Clarke coaches me now with the help of Rob Rock. I have learned so much about the golf swing but most of all with the short game and I love to work on short game. Especially bunker play! I firmly believe talent will get you so far but hard work is what really matters. I’m so looking forward to this new opportunity at Wollaton. I have many friends here and I'm looking forward to making new ones and representing the club. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Lee. |
