FREE golf club MOT

Club news

ANPR / car park barrier

The car park barrier has been in operation for a few weeks now and is working well. As a further security measure and ‘members only’ privilege, we have added an Auto Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) camera. Members are invited to send me their car number plate, once entered onto the system you may approach the barrier and the bar will raise automatically without the need to enter the code.

Competition update

Knockouts

All this year’s Knockouts will be run through howdidido. We will be adding a Scratch Knockout. Sign-up will be through the system and will open today and will close on Sunday 31st March. To sign-up, members can log into their howdidido account and select knockouts from the sub headings - payment will then be taken from members green cards.

Alternatively, members may book knockouts through the Pro Shop on the PSI or with the pro staff. The draw will then be on howdidido with each playing being informed of their opponents’ details and deadline date by email.

By entering the knockout, you are consenting for this information to be shared. On completion of matches, members will be asked to inform the Pro Shop of the winner of the match. The draws will also be displayed in the locker rooms. Gents Singles £4 Gents Pairs £4 each Mixed £3 each Scratch £4.

We all love new golf equipment – be it balls, clubs or shoes; there’s nothing like stepping out onto the course knowing that everything in your bag is in pristine condition. Except, for the majority of golfers, there’s always one thing which is often forgotten about...

As we make our way through February, you may begin to notice feeling warmer at the end of a round compared to previous weeks.
